Junior Symphonia is open to students who currently play a string instrument. Orchestra students range in age from 8-18 years old. Younger students that play a string instrument and are able to read music should contact us to make sure that they are ready to participate.
Who We Are
Junior Symphonia creates a positive, enriching and inclusive orchestra community that fosters a lifelong appreciation of music. We believe that through performing, rehearsing and collaborating with our Westchester community, music students will be inspired to develop a strong sense of character, discipline, commitment, and community.
Where To Find Us
Junior Symphonia is a community youth string orchestra that meets for rehearsals on Friday afternoons at Larchmont Avenue Church (LAC) in Larchmont, NY. We typically play concerts at LAC and also in the surrounding community in various settings and on a variety of special occasions.
